I didn't originally plan to take such a long break from updating this blog... things just got extremely busy with Charleston Fashion Week and now that it has come to a close, please allow me to give a brief summary about what went on here during the week leading up to it.

My mom came into town from Nashville, one week before the show to help with all of the last minute sewing(and it turned out to be a lot).  I kept telling myself... things are bound to go wrong when you have 15 outfits and 15 children to fit them onto. It was nice to have her here to make everything go really smooth and calm.

There were actually 17 models in the show... here, we have Maisy's doll... Can you tell that this fabric is my favorite? I also used it to make the shirt that my mom is wearing and gave it to her at Christmas. Here is a good close up of the models that may have been overlooked a little;)

This photo will explain why I added, 3 yr old Hudson to the show, just two days before while at his house to to fit his 3 siblings... This little guy really looks up to his older brother.
And here we are backstage on Tuesday night just a couple of hours before the show.

Hudson, getting his makeup touched up while wearing his signature red sneakers.
Makenna... Thank You for putting up with this again! It turned out beautiful!

Please go here to view the whole collection on the runway!

I have to thank this lady for having the great idea to begin Charleston Fashion Week and for making it such a huge success. Thanks to the team at Charleston Magazine and the wonderful hair and make-up crew organized by Ashley Brooke Perryman.

Wow! I was waiting for this post Barbara. I love all the photos especially the one of Hudson getting him makeup done. I can tell he is so interested in what that lady is telling him.
