Cool Patio

Check out the herbs and flowers at the Italian restaurant Al Di La! I have wanted to take a photo every time I've passed by lately, so yesterday I made a point... I think that it deserves a post:)

Fall/Winter Lookbook continued

These are the blue outfits from the Fall/Winter collection, inspired by the colors and feel of Morocco. I am looking forward to posting some of the inspiration behind this line soon.  As you may notice when you go to the online shop that these pieces are available only in certain sizes... as a new designer, I am currently going through the steps to having a whole entire collection complete with a range of sizes. I am now closer than ever to this goal and I am really excited about getting started on Spring 2012! I really enjoy these steps and I am happy to take my time learning as much as I can along the way. Your support is what keeps me going. Thank you.

Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Here is the Fall/Winter clothing-line photographed by Jorg Meyer.  This was such a fun day and it's always exciting to work with Jorg.  This photo-story took place in a historic home, downtown Charleston.  These outfits are now available  online!  I am looking forward to sharing the remainder of this story tomorrow!

Morning

Early in the morning, everything is quiet and I can have tea and think to myself. This is the time for research. To find new ideas and inspiration.  These new ideas will come from magazines, blogs, new stores, and old ones too:) I have certain routines and one of them is blog reading. They are becoming a really great place for new ideas. They are real (atleast more real than TV) they are current, you can interact with them and they are always thinking ahead.  I have a long list of blogs that I read, even some that aren't on the "Blogs Preferes" list. This morning, I was happy to discover that my designs made it to one of my top reads,  Look Linger Love.  Chassity is a good example of always thinking ahead and I am honored to take part in her space. Take a look, if you'd like. I hope that your morning is also off to a great start:)

A Story

This morning, I am admiring the press images photographed by Kelly Roper. My designs are in a small story in Babiekins Magazine which came out yesterday! I'm loving their slogan, "For the trendsetting child." Here are some photos from the story. All of these outfits are available now online.  p.s. The new Facebook page is getting a lot of attention! Thank you so much for the support!

The Online Shop is Open!

I am excited to share this photo from the Fall 2011 photo shoot with photographer Jorg Meyer. More to come! In this photo, she is wearing the Saffron Linen Dress size 4T. Check out the Entire Fall Collection at the new online store here!

Coming Soon!

These Scalloped Collar dresses will soon be available on my new online shop along with the Fall line which I am excited to share soon!
This is what became of my visit with Lianne yesterday evening. We got tired of talking and started climbing.

Taking Care.

I enjoy hand-washing myswim suits after a day at the pool or ocean. It's an art, you know?  There is something really satisfying about taking care of really nice things. Next up... cleaning makeup brushes... something that I should do every day but don't.

Tea or Coffee?

Photo from Thursday's break with a friend (we chose coffee in a teapot;)). Sometimes (a lot of the time), my best ideas come when I put my work aside for a while and hear about someone else's. Speaking of small gatherings... our break allowed us to come up with ideas and begin a plan for one soon:)

A Perfect Fall Coat.

I'm liking this new Emerson design...The Emerson London Coat 1960

KINFOLK

Here's to the group of artists, photographers and writers behind the new magazine, KINFOLK. They really have unique taste, which makes for a very interesting and inspiring spread.  By the end of the magazine... I find myself planning all sorts of small gatherings in my head:)
