Thanksgiving in Asheville.

Celebrating Mark's birthday upon arriving with a dark chocolate raspberry cake.
The Biltmore
My dad in his favorite Stetson
I thought this man was interesting.. he was proud to pose for a picture. The other guy was just dancing.
The French Broad Chocolate Lounge... yes... there is such a place.  We went there twice and I got the same thing both times... The spicy hot chocolate with cayenne and cinnamon. The red raspberry truffles were great too...

Jack and Mark, playing some tunes... They were really great... I think we may talk them into playing at the Bluebird when we go to Nashville in a couple weeks.. haha, no really.. they were good and surprisingly in sync. This picture makes me laugh.

Ideas

Photos of the new inspiration wall.  For design and color ideas, I like to visit here with my camera. I walk around and take photos of anything that draws my attention. I also tear pages out of favorite magazines, so that when I have everything together...It will begin to look like a patern;)

Elephants in the room.

Happy Monday. I am back from celebrating Thanksgiving in Asheville.  Once I returned home this weekend.. I literally set my bags down and continued the project that I had been working on before leaving home... the stomping elephant dresses.

Off to the mountains today and looking forward the pretty drive to Asheville today, followed by tea on a mountain top!

After about thirty minutes of working on this dress, yesterday... it found a two year old owner.   We'll just have to plan a photo shoot when it's all said and done;)

Fuel and Sugar.

Just a couple of days ago, I met my friend, Lauren for lunch at FUEL a cool restaurant near the crosstown. She and her husband are moving to North Carolina (today actually) so this was sort of a goodbye lunch. Afterwards, we stopped into Sugar Bakeshop for dessert.

Lately, I have been doing a lot of searching for any kind of inspiration for B.b. Having just attended E.N.K. I saw some really great designs... It filled my head with so many ideas, but also with things that I didn't see as well.  I thought I'd share with you, a few photos that I've been keeping on my desktop this Month.
